DCUK Elizabeth Puffin
Whatever the weather, our fantastic puffin friend is ready to fly in her RNLI hat. She is named after Elizabeth Hostvedt, an 18-year-old Norwegian student who became the first woman qualified to command an RNLI inshore lifeboat.
Elizabeth the puffin has been crafted by the DCUK company, who transform sustainable bamboo roots and off-cuts that would otherwise be wasted, into wonderful feathered characters. Carved, moulded and painted by hand by local people in Indonesia, each puffin is unique.
- Stands approximately 21cm tall
- Every DCUK piece is carved by hand, using locally harvested bamboo offcuts that would otherwise go to waste
- Comes with a pre-named cotton card tag ‘My name is Elizabeth’
- Each figure is unique
- For display indoors
- Handmade in Indonesia
Please note: Each DCUK bird is handmade so the colour of the wood and detailing may vary slightly from the image shown.
